Arkhé collaborates with the Foundation for the Conservation and Recovery of Marine Animals (CRAM)

Since its creation, this organization has recovered more than 800 sea turtles and assisted more than 350 dolphins and whales stranded on the beach. Arkhé Cosmetics has a principle of sustainability deeply rooted in its production and all the actions it carries out.

Arkhé Cosmetics has entered into a collaboration agreement whereby it will finance actions carried out by the Foundation for the Conservation and Recovery of Marine Animals whose main activity is the rescue of endangered marine species stranded on the Mediterranean coast and their subsequent reintroduction into their habitat. It also develops various lines of work in conservation, research and training, as well as actions to raise social awareness of the state of the marine environment and its problems. Since its creation, they have recovered and released more than 800 sea turtles, have provided more than 350 assistances to stranded dolphins and whales, and have provided more than 50 assistances to different species of sharks. More than 1500 volunteers have collaborated in their facilities in El Prat de Llobregat.

This agreement is part of the brand's principle of sustainability, seeking the least impact on the environment and contributing positively with all our actions.

Formulas with up to 96% of naturalness manufactured with renewable energy in our plant in Barcelona avoiding the emission of 167 tons of CO2 per year. We incorporate in all our formulas 100% natural essential oils for a soothing and refreshing action on body and soul.

We prioritize the use of sustainable, locally sourced and fair trade ingredients to contribute to a better world. For example with CHLORELLA VULGARIS seaweed which has been extracted from the lake of Banyoles in Girona and is grown on the campus of the University of Barcelona without impacting the environment.

RECYCLED PLASTIC PACKAGING

We produce our packaging with post-consumer recycled plastic. In its composition we have incorporated an innovative enzymatic active ingredient that accelerates the biodegradation of plastic waste, in comparison with conventional plastic packaging, not affecting its recyclability and not requiring handling under special conditions, so that its natural degradation begins.

PROTECTION OF THE MEDITERRANEAN

We collaborate with the CRAM Foundation, the first Recovery Center created in the Mediterranean.
